The Manchester Convention Centre has disabled facilities for all areas being used by the IFPA 2017 Meeting. Please either contact the conference secretariat prior to the Meeting to arrange any special requirements, or alternatively ask at the registration desk when you arrive if you require assistance.
Join your fellow delegates for drinks and snacks at the Manchester Museum from 18:30 - 20:00. This is a great introduction to the Meeting. Tickets are complimentary for registered delegates and £20 each for additional guests.
The informal Early Career evening will be held at the Pie & Ale in the northern quarters of Manchester. Please book this on your registration form, alternatively add it to your existing booking via "manage my booking"

The IFPA Gala dinner will take place in the evening on Friday 1st September at the Meeting Venue – Manchester Central (Manchester Central Convention Complex Ltd. Manchester, Petersfield, M2 3GX).
Tickets for this event must be purchased on line when you register for the meeting, alternatively, you can go back to your booking via the "manage my booking" link and add tickets to your existing registration.

The Meeting venue Manchester Central offers free wifi to all delegates.
The Organising Committee and Bioscientifica Ltd cannot accept liability for injuries or losses of whatever nature incurred by participants, nor for loss of or damage to their luggage and/or personal belongings. Please check the validity of your own travel insurance.
All reasonable endeavours will be made to hold IFPA 2017 and to present its programme as scheduled under circumstances which assure the comfort and safety of all participants. However, neither IFPA nor its committees, representatives or agents, shall be held liable by any person as a result of the cancellation of IFPA 2017 or of any of the arrangements, programs or plans connected therewith, or for any injury, damage or inconvenience which may be suffered by any person while travelling to or from, or during such person's presence in the United Kingdom in connection with this Meeting.
Participants are fully liable for damages caused to third parties and property.
All delegates shall have a valid, fully comprehensive third party travel and / or liability insurance.
Emergency phone numbers
In an emergency, please dial 999, from any phone, to contact the police, fire or ambulance services. Any emergencies that occur whilst onsite at IFPA 2017 must be reported to the Organiser's office or the Registration desk.
First aid room
If you are in need of medical attention please make yourself known to any member of the Meeting Team.
Recording by any means (photograph, audio or video) of any presentations or sessions at IFPA 2017 is strictly forbidden. First Authors who wish to photograph their own poster presentations are allowed to do so.
Please wear your name badge at all times. Entrance will not be permitted to delegates who are not wearing their badge.
This is a non-smoking event. Designated smoking areas will be situated outside of the venue.
A travel insurance policy to cover theft, loss and medical problems is recommended. IFPA and Bioscientifica will not be held liable for illness, accidents or thefts suffered by participants during the Meeting or their stay in the UK before or after the Meeting.
